You may have seen the other day on Oprah on the 5 best things for anti aging:

1. Food
2. Exercise
3. Meditate
4. Sleep and Sex
5. Vitamins

But they forgot one of the most important things, so I am adding #6 to the list:

Which is Brain Fitness.

Now you might think meditation would fit into this, well not quite
because in meditation you are only doing it for a short period of time.

Brain fitness is simply taking inventory of your daily thoughts and seeing what is you most
dominant thought.

We think about 60,000 thoughts a day so all the healthy eating won't reverse what is going inside your head. If you say to yourself "I feel old, I look old...this is what happens when I get old"...then your cells take hold of those thoughts as recent scientific evidence shows that negative thoughts age the body and cause dis-ease.

Your most powerful defense for anti-aging beyond anything is using the power of your brain
and directing your thoughts to more positive or less emotionally charged states.

Telling yourself everyday things like "I am a young, vibrant person" is a great start, as well as paying attention to all the thoughts that run through your mind. You do have control over your body and your dominant thoughts will determine your outcome to longevity.

Practice your brain fitness everyday and you will feel and see how powerful it really is!
